Room Attendant – Hilton Hotel

Position Summary / Resumen del Puesto:

As a Room Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and internal areas (such as laundry and laundry rooms), following Hilton standards and hotel policies. Your goal is to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Essential Job Functions / Funciones Esenciales:

• Stock housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies to clean rooms effectively, especially when the houseman is not available.
• Knock and announce "Housekeeping" before entering any room.
• Clean thoroughly each assigned room within the established time. Ensure all amenities (soaps, towels, paper, etc.) are fully restocked.
• Report clean rooms to the supervisor for inspection.
• Report immediately any damage or dangerous situations (burned light bulbs, broken furniture, defective locks).
• Restock the cart for the next shift or day.
• Ensure the room door is closed when leaving.
• Keep hallways and service areas tidy and clean at all times.
• Turn in all lost and found items and keys to the Housekeeping office following the hotel procedure.
• Clean following Hilton's Way of Clean standards.

Marginal Duties / Funciones Adicionales:

• Help other cleaning department members when necessary.

Requirements / Requisitos:

• Able to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish.
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, and move constantly during the shift.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push carts up to 100 lbs.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Attention to detail to identify guest belongings and ensure complete cleaning.
• Basic reading and writing skills to record completed rooms.
