Job Description

Job Title

Position requires preparation, cooking, counter service, sanitation, stocking of products, and exceptional customer service. Must be a team player and work well with others. Knowledge of natural organic foods, lifestyle diets such as keto, paleo, vegan, etc. and preparation is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintains department layout and product merchandising.
2. Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
3. Demonstrates leadership qualities
4. Achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
5. Contributes to a positive work environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
6. Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs to satisfy and delight customers
7. Ensures all customers are served in a timely manner so that customer satisfaction is exceeded.
8. Responds promptly to customer needs and questions.
9. Maintains cleanliness and sanitizing practices.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives and box cutters.
• May require use of ladders.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Food handler certificate is a plus.
