Pipe Welder

Trillium Construction is now hiring fitter welders in Brookfield, WI!

Schedule is 1st shift, M-F, overtime may be offered. Pay is $28-$32/hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific fabrication requirements.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to blueprints, BOM, written, and verbal instructions
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for final welding, MIG
• Select equipment and plan layout of assembly for welding
• Check parts for accuracy, clearance and fit
• Setup welding machines based on the job at hand
• Use a variety of hand and power tools as needed
• Inspect items as instructed and provide feedback to management to ensure any quality defects can be avoided in the future
• Maintain a clean work area, returning equipment and tools at the end of the day
• Assist other departments and functions as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 years' experience of open table fit up experience.
• Must have large weldment / heavy manufacturing experience
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints to determine specific welding requirements
• Valid driver's license / reliable transportation
