Travel Specialist Travel Specialists assist MEDITECH employees with their business travel arrangements while maintaining company guidelines and standards. The Travel Specialist makes independent decisions regarding options for travel and makes recommendations to company policy based on their expertise. A Travel Specialist is recognized as someone who possesses an advanced level of experience, skills, abilities, and knowledge of the travel industry and works closely with other areas of the company, as well as outside travel industry contacts and contracted consultants, to carry out their responsibilities. As a member of our General & Administrative team, your job would involve: Managing and booking air, car, and hotel reservations using multiple travel software systems and outside industry contacts. Overseeing the processing of refunds, voids, and exchanges and working with our travel booking partners in these endeavors. Providing seamless travel support to each MEDITECH employee and making independent judgments in support of the employee or consultant travel arrangements. Performing other related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s or associate degree in Travel and Tourism. 5 years experience in Corporate Travel preferred. Knowledge of Sabre Reservation System. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Exceptional organizational skills.Ability to exercise independent judgment regarding requested travel and/or changes while keeping MEDITECH’s policies and guidelines in place. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Hiring salary range: $54,000 - $66,000 per year. Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
