The RN will manage acute medical-surgical patients with various diagnoses and care needs. A fast-paced and challenging environment is anticipated. The RN must be adaptable to complex situations. The team emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and evidence-based practice. The RN will ensure safe, high-quality care for all patients. Respect and professionalism towards colleagues and patients are highly valued. The expected patient ratio will be 1:5-7. No travel experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to possess skills related to bariatric surgery, tracheostomy care, and wound management, among others. The RN will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy. Utilization of rapid response teams will be part of the clinical responsibilities.
