Job Description Park Avenue Armory is looking for a bilingual Stage Manager, fluent in Korean and English, to provide support to the Company’s Stage Management team including translating critical information, liaising between the Company SM team and the Armory staff and assuming the ASM track once Company ASM departs New York City. Further duties listed below include but are not limited to: Report to the Armory’s Chief Artistic Producer, Deputy Director of Production, and Producer, and work closely with other Armory staff, contracted artists, and production personnel. Attend rehearsals, technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and shall be present at all performances of the Production. Provide Stage Management support to the Production during the course of Rehearsals and Performances as outlined in the Schedule. Prepare and distribute daily rehearsal reports and schedules, as needed, and requested. Take over Assistant Stage Manager track when Company ASM departs New York. Work with Front of House staff to open the house doors and communicate emergency protocols, as applicable. Assist with any other related responsibilities as mutually agreed. Employment Dates September 1, 2026 – September 26, 2026 Performances September 14, 2026 - September 26, 2026 Monday–Thursday at 7:30pm Friday–Saturday at 8:00pm Thursday, September 24th – Education Performance at 12:00pm 2 hours and 30 minutes including intermission. Performed in Korean with English captions. Compensation $1,700 (One Thousand Seventeen Hundred) per week. The Stage Manager shall be treated as an employee of the Armory, and Employee’s compensation shall be subject to applicable tax withholdings. The Armory shall be responsible for processing all applicable payroll-related withholdings, reporting, and payments required by city, state, and federal law. Must be eligible to work in the US. Qualifications Candidates must have experience in Stage Management. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English; excellent attention to detail and administrative and organizational skills.
