JTW is hiring a part-time Search Engine Marketing Specialist to lead paid search and SEO programs — for JTW’s own brand and a select roster of client engagements. The role is hands-on with the keyword list, the ad copy, and the analytics, not just the deck.
You will work alongside our strategy, creative, and analytics teams. Many of our clients are retail and consumer brands with seasonal cadences, so your work will follow product launches, store openings, and campaign moments rather than always-on volume.

**Responsibilities:**
* Plan, launch, and optimize paid search programs across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen) and Microsoft Advertising.
* Maintain and grow keyword strategy across branded, non-branded, competitor, and long-tail terms — including broad match with smart-bidding signals.
* Build and ship a measurable SEO roadmap — technical, on-page, content, and link-earning — for JTW and select client sites.
* Adapt SEO strategy to AI Overviews / SGE and LLM-search behavior (citations, entity coverage, schema completeness).
* Partner with copy, design, and engineering on landing-page conversion and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).
* Run weekly performance pulses and monthly executive readouts to client stakeholders.
* Stand up structured experimentation: test plans, statistical confidence, and a clear archive of what we learned.
**Requirements:**
* 5+ years owning paid search and SEO programs, ideally for consumer or retail brands.
* Deep Google Ads (Search + Performance Max), Microsoft Ads, GA4, and Google Search Console.
* Working knowledge of GTM, conversion tracking, and Google Consent Mode v2.
* At least one SEO platform — Ahrefs, Semrush, Sitebulb, or Screaming Frog — at depth.
* Comfortable building reports in Looker Studio; BigQuery SQL a plus for GA4 exports.
* A defensible point of view on attribution, incrementality, and modeled conversions.
* Written communication strong enough to brief writers, designers, and engineers without back-and-forth.
* US-based and authorized to work in the US.
**Nice to have:**
* Experience with retail or seasonal e-commerce calendars (product launches, store openings, drops).
* Strong technical SEO chops (schema.org / JSON-LD, hreflang, large-site crawl strategy, log-file analysis).
* Hands-on with server-side tagging (sGTM) for paid-search conversion quality.
* Familiarity with paid social adjacency (Meta, TikTok) so cross-channel context lands cleanly.
* Exposure to LLM / AI-search optimization (citation strategy, entity-led content).
