Need a seasoned PR and communications professional to join our team as a contractor This person will own end to end product launches build and execute media strategies and produce high quality written communications across multiple formats The right candidate moves fast writes well and knows the consumer tech and AI landscape inside and out

Key Responsibilities:

• Product launches: manage complex fast moving product launches from start to finish including developing product positioning coordinating cross functional timelines and driving execution across teams
• Media relation: Build and maintain relationships with top tier tech reporters Pitch stories coordinate interviews and serve as a day to day point of contact for press
• Written communications: Write and edit all comms materials including blog posts press releases talking points key messages and reactive statements. Everything needs to be crisp accurate and on message
• Strategic counsel: Provide communications guidance to product and leadership teams throughout the launch cycle Flag risks early Recommend the right approach
• Prioritization: Juggle multiple launches and workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball. Know what matters most and act accordingly

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of experience in PR communications or media relations preferably in consumer tech
• Bachelors in Communications, PR, English or Journalism.
• Proven track record managing end to end product launches with multiple stakeholders
• Strong existing relationships with tech reporters and a deep understanding of the tech media landscape
• Excellent writing skills with experience producing press releases blog posts talking points and key messages
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous fast paced environments with minimal direction
• Experience managing multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consumer hardware AI or smart home technology
• Background working with cross functional teams like product marketing legal policy
• Familiarity with social monitoring and issues management
• Experience supporting executive level media engagements and interview prep
• Up to date knowledge of the consumer tech and AI landscape including current trends key players and emerging technologies

This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Amazon.

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $70/hour - $74/hour.
