Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $169.75 - $183.75

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity: 

Schedule: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM, 24-hour in-house coverage; 1 weekend per month Aug–Dec 2026, then 2–3 weekends per month ongoing

Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital call; 90% Labor and Delivery

Types of Cases: Low- and high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, vaginal birth after cesarean, circumcisions, emergent gynecology cases (ectopic pregnancy, hemorrhage), gynecologic surgery, obstetric ultrasounds, fetal heart monitoring interpretation

Credentialing Timeframe: 30–90 days (emergency temporary privileges available)

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Certifications Required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and active Drug Enforcement Administration

Licensure Required: Ohio medical license
