Job Description

Provide support and assistance to the Director of Legal Services with day-to-day administrative tasks. This position is part time up to 19 hours per week. Flexible, but consistent schedule. Job Duties Maintain the confidentiality of client matters and files. Open and close case files, send out client surveys and assist the Program Director in maintaining case records. Assist the Program Director with conducting telephone communications and check files as needed. Assist the Program Director in the preparation of the Monthly Status Reports and other Legal Services Program reports. General administrative responsibilities, including, but not limited to: answering telephones, screening potential clients, maintaining program database, retrieval of files, copying, scanning, typing and mailing of correspondence. Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Education and Experience High School Diploma and equivalent experience in a relevant field. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Flexibility and creativity. Prior experience in a office environment preferred but not required. Related Job Requirements Occasional Travel as required.
