About The Role As a Leasing Agent, you'll play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations by helping fill vacancies, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time non-exempt position, well-suited for someone who is tech-savvy, personable, and highly organized. No prior leasing experience is necessary—we provide full training to set you up for success. Previous experience in customer service is preferred, as it helps ensure a smooth and positive experience for prospective and current residents. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Prepare units for showings and move-ins. Conduct property inspections to ensure cleanliness and readiness. Utilize digital platforms to manage scheduling, applications, and communications. Customer Service Greet and assist prospective renters in a professional and friendly manner. Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, and leasing terms. Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly and courteously. Deliver high-quality service throughout the pre‑move‑in process. Leasing & Marketing Schedule and conduct in‑person and virtual property tours. Showcase community features and apartment amenities during tours. Guide applicants through the rental application and leasing process. Prepare and explain lease agreements and documentation. Manage online listings and keep marketing materials up to date. Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media and community outreach. Administrative Duties Collect and document application fees, deposits, and rent payments. Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and lease agreements. Update leasing software and databases (Excel experience preferred; training provided). Support reporting activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly metrics. Resident Relations & Communication Assist with lease renewals and move‑in coordination. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations (training provided). Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and supervisors. Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience & Skills No prior leasing experience required—comprehensive training provided. Customer service or sales experience is a plus. Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and online platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn new tools. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
