We are seeking a motivated and personable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping residents find their perfect home. Spanish language skills are a strong plus. Responsibilities Greet and tour prospective tenants, highlighting property features and community amenities. Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies and local regulations. Conduct application processing, including background and reference checks. Collect application fees, deposits, and rent payments; maintain accurate financial records. Maintain proactive communication with current residents to address questions, concerns, and service requests. Utilize property management software (e.g. AppFolio) for lead tracking, lease generation, and reporting. Support marketing efforts by updating listings, coordinating signage, and assisting with community events. Perform other duties as assigned to support property operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in real estate or related field preferred. Prior leasing, sales, or customer service experience advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Real estate or leasing license if required by state regulations. Base Pay $19–$24/hour depending on experience and local market conditions. Incentives Commission per lease signed: Percentage based on experience. Performance bonuses: Based on occupancy goals, renewals, and customer satisfaction metrics.
