About Us: The True Gem is a Dallas TX based jewelry brand specializing in custom jewelry design and in-house manufacturing. We sell, design, and produce diamond and gemstone jewelry for clients worldwide. We are looking to grow our team in the manufacturing department. You will be joining a team that is extremely passionate about jewelry and creating unparalleled manufacturing processes. This is an exciting time to join our team and help transform and scope our process that promotes our love for jewelry and how it is made. This position will be in‑office reporting to our Production Manager. As a production line jeweler, you will assist in an array of stages of our manufacturing of jewelry for our customers. You will be responsible for any one or an array of work from setting melee, setting centers, and / or polishing of products within the process. This person will embody our Mission Statement and operate within our Core Value to assist The True Gem in disrupting the industry by challenging industry standards on sourcing, traditions, and transparency. Job Requirement: Must be able to set micro pave, French pave, and bead setting (300+ stones daily) Must be able to center stones and tailor prongs for a distinctive look. (Must be able to complete 60+ center stones daily) Must be able to polish and lap and have the skills to handle porosity in metal Must be able to strive and work in a team environment. Communication Skills in both verbal and written for clarity Highly Organized Task / Due Date Oriented Ability to Accept / Apply constructive Feedback Ability to Follow Instructions Prompt / Dependable Preferred Production line setter having 3 plus years of experience but willing to train.
