A HazMat and Tank Endorsed Truck Driver will be responsible for driving gasoline or diesel-powered fuel, water, and/or dump trucks on job sites to transport and deliver a variety of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Drives the truck to the destination and returns
• Climbs on and off the truck body during loading, unloading, and tie-down procedures
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations (including I.C.C. Regulations)
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip truck inspection reports
• Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, and batteries, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs
• Follow the truck maintenance schedule
• Performs all duties in conformance with appropriate safety standards
• Follow specific directions
• Work within the standards of accuracy
• Repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedures and evaluate information using measurable standards
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have HazMat and Tank Endorsements
• Stand, sit, or walk for long periods
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Stoop, kneel, and crouch
• See and hear well (either naturally or with correction)
• Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must meet all Federal DOT Requirements
