Growing together.The Financial Consultant will be the assistant Oracle EPM administrator. Oracle EPM is the SG&A forecasting software used by Optum with a focus on labor planning. The system is used for actuals and forecast data at a cost center (department) level. This system allows for driver-based planning for labor and allows for unit cost tracking, data analysis and allocations to segments.This position is full time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Primary Responsibilities:Assign security to database elements using best practicesCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to database system configuration, mapping, and processes.Develop strong relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partnersIndependently troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and escalate more complex issues as appropriateDesign and perform database and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategiesPlans and assists with oversight of testing processes and activities including defect identification and resolutionCoordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.Teaming with developers and business resources to perform implementation and ongoing upgrades of the software.Build, develop and maintain data models, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions through Power BIMust have desire to learn new tools / languages quickly and continue expanding knowledgeYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or related field3+ years of experience with planning tool Oracle EPM Financial modeling and financial statement analysis skills, with experience owning and maintaining modelsAnalytical capability with attention to detail and accountability for accuracyIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS)Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences, including presentation to leadershipExperience with building, developing and maintaining data models, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics supportAbility to work full time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday.
