Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinson's Full‑time Salary Min: 139,000 Salary Max: 250,500 Workday Global Grade: 19 Travel: Yes, 50% of the time Compensation: USD 109,500 – USD 208,500 yearly This role is field‑based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. Eligible Cities Indianapolis, IN St Louis, MO Louisville, KY Lexington, KY Responsibilities The Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) acts as an alternative in‑office resource available to address HCP questions about patient access. The FRM calls directly on HCP offices in the assigned geography to answer questions about patient access & reimbursement in support of Duopa and Vyalev. The FRM provides expertise on coverage and common access and reimbursement challenges affecting Duopa and Vyalev. Educate on the access and reimbursement support tools available from AbbVie. Advise HCPs on patient prescription status and program eligibility. Educate HCP offices on payer processes and procedures. Provide local expertise on national/regional payer policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes. Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility. Report back payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams. Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory. Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in rare disease with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement. Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services. Comprehensive understanding of the technical payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines. Strong understanding and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the national and regional level across all settings of care. Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics. Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the rare disease space (Part B DME, Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, etc.). Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and how to effectively interact in a compliant fashion. Excellent territory and account management skills. Driving a personal auto or a company vehicle, truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening test and meet safe‑driving requirements. Essential requirement: satisfy all applicable Health Care Industry Representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations in the assigned territory. Must also be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain these credentials. Responsible for ensuring all HCIR credentialing requirements are met and for any associated liability. Compensation and Benefits Compensation range: USD 109,500 – USD 208,500 yearly based on job grade and geographic location; actual compensation within range may vary.
