Epic Beaker Ap Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Epic Beaker AP Analyst to lead the implementation of Epic’s Laboratory Information System (LIS) for a client transitioning from their current LIS product to Epic. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare IT project management with at least 5 years of experience and at least 2 Epic project implementations under their belt. The project manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful deployment, configuration, and optimization of Epic Beaker AP, and must be well-versed in the workflows and product flows within Epic Beaker AP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Epic Beaker AP implementation project from initiation to completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, the client’s stakeholders, and Epic consultants to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Oversee all aspects of the Epic Beaker AP integration, including data migration, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and escalation of risks as necessary.
• Ensure all project milestones are met and that the project aligns with organizational goals, including adherence to compliance and quality standards.
• Lead project status meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure proper documentation of project progress and outcomes.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential obstacles during the implementation process.
• Train and mentor junior project team members and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Healthcare IT project management, with a focus on software implementations.
• At least 2 Epic project implementations (preferably with Epic Beaker AP) under your belt, with a strong understanding of product flows within Epic Beaker AP.
• Solid knowledge and experience in managing large-scale IT projects within healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted projects with tight timelines and diverse stakeholder involvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee potential issues and develop proactive solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or other relevant project management certifications.
• Familiarity with other Epic modules or experience with additional Epic systems.
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach to project management.
