Industrial Motor Mechanic
$25 - $35/hr | Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble industrial equipment and components with precision and attention to detail.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on motors, pumps, and related industrial equipment.
Repair and rebuild industrial components, ensuring reliable performance and adherence to quality standards.
Read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, plans, and operating manuals, to guide repair and assembly work.
Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of parts, fluid lines, and pipes according to specifications.
Support electrical work and basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire and working with components, switches, and control centers.
Conduct quality inspections on completed repairs and assemblies to verify proper operation and safety.
Collaborate with team members and communicate findings, repair plans, and status updates clearly and professionally.
Operate company tools, equipment, and service vehicles (as applicable) in a safe and responsible manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while working effectively in shop and field environments.

Work Environment
This position follows a standard daytime schedule, typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
The role involves frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, driving, reading, and communicating throughout the workday.
You will work in various environments and conditions, including shop and field locations.
The shop can be dirty and is not always climate controlled, so comfort working in non-pristine and varying temperature conditions is important.
Appropriate work attire should be practical and suitable for industrial settings, with a focus on safety and durability.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
