Job Description Position Summary : -
- We are looking for a motivated and curious Embedded Firmware Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing firmware for embedded Linux platforms using C++. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects that contribute to the development of next-generation embedded systems.
Responsibilities : -
- Assist in the development and testing of embedded firmware using C++ on Linux-based platforms.
- Support debugging and troubleshooting of firmware and hardware integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings to learn best practices in embedded development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and contribute to design discussions.
- Document code, test procedures, and technical findings.
Learning Opportunities: -
- Gain exposure to embedded Linux environments, including kernel modules and device drivers.
- Learn about communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
- Understand real-time control systems and how firmware interacts with hardware.
- Experience working in a professional engineering environment with version control tools like Git.
Qualifications : -
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Coursework or project experience in C/C++ programming and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with basic electronics and microcontroller platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
