Dominion Women’s Health, Inc. is an established OB-GYN practice seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife. We are looking to grow our practice with the addition of a Midwife to compliment our private practice serving the Richmond, VA area. The desirable candidate enjoys managing the care of the patient from adolescents through menopause for her gynecological and obstetrical needs. Assisting patients in labor and delivery in a hospital setting, as well as postpartum care and hospital discharges will also be a part of your day. You will be collaborating as part of a care team comprised of five Board Certified Ob/Gyn’s as well as Certified Nurse Midwives & Nurse Practitioners but will manage your patient’s needs. Must be passionate about caring for women throughout all stages of life and working with a diverse population.

Requirements:
American Midwifery Certification Board (eligible) required.
Master’s Degree from an Accredited College or University
Virginia license as Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse Midwife, BLS, & CPR Certification (in progress acceptable).
Interest in caring for patients a wide variety of gynecological and obstetrical needs.
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relations with a wide variety of staff & patients under stressful conditions.
Willing to work at any of the various offices of Dominion Women’s Health and perform deliveries when needed at any of the credentialed hospitals.
Availability to respond to on-call needs as determined by practice including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Must be eligible for credentialing by hospitals affiliated with Dominion Women’s Health, Inc. & various insurance companies.
