Event Server (Butler)

The Event Server (Butler) will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of food and beverages to our guests.

Server Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Set up and arrange event spaces according to specific requirements, ensuring everything is in place for a successful event.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs throughout the event, providing attentive and personalized service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas and dining spaces, including clearing tables and resetting as needed.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless coordination of service and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, following proper procedures for handling and serving food.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving and arranging furniture and other equipment.

This position may frequently involve communication with English-speaking customers, clients, and colleagues, including responding to inquiries, providing information, and collaborating within a team. Employees should be able to understand and respond effectively in these situations to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a catering or hospitality environment should be clearly listed in your application.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• The ability to understand and speak some English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry objects weighing 10-25 pounds, such as trays of food or beverage supplies, and perform tasks requiring physical movement, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Bartenders: You must hold a relevant certification (e.g., TIPS certification) and indicate this in your application.

Successful completion of a background check and E-Verify confirmation of work authorization are required for employment.

Pay: The pay range for the Catering Event Staff positions ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience. Our company values the skills and expertise that each team member brings to the table, and we offer competitive compensation to reflect this. As you gain experience and demonstrate proficiency in your role, opportunities for advancement and increased pay may become available. We are committed to ensuring that our employees are fairly compensated for their contributions and have the opportunity to grow within our organization. Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
