The Water BIM Manager leads the digital design and modeling efforts for water and wastewater projects. This position ensures that Banner’s BIM processes deliver accurate, coordinated, and high-quality results across all phases of a project. The role provides leadership in model setup and execution, promotes consistency across disciplines, and mentors staff in digital tools and workflows. Responsibilities Lead BIM and digital design initiatives for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Manage and maintain 3D models that align with project scope, schedule, and Banner standards. Set up and oversee model structure, content, and coordination across various disciplines. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure seamless integration of models and deliverables. Utilize advanced knowledge of Autodesk software, including Civil 3D, Revit, and Plant 3D, to support design development and documentation. Develop and refine Banner’s BIM standards, execution plans, and digital delivery workflows. Conduct quality reviews and ensure compliance with Banner’s Quality Management System (QMS). Facilitate coordination meetings and serve as the BIM point of contact for the Water Department. Mentor team members on modeling techniques, digital tools, and best practices. Promote innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery. Qualifications Required Associate or technical degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10 years of related experience in BIM coordination and digital design for infrastructure or water projects. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, or Plant 3D. Experience managing and coordinating multi‑discipline models. Strong understanding of engineering concepts, industry standards, and documentation processes. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Proven ability to mentor, lead, and collaborate effectively with others. Preferred Experience with municipal or utility infrastructure projects. Familiarity with BIM execution planning and digital delivery strategies. Banner Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
