Rapidly expanding IT firm serving education and government clients seeks an experienced  Apple Computer Field Repair Technician to join our Atlanta, GA team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing Apple computers (MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Minis, and Mac Pros) and a strong working knowledge of macOS and Apple software. You will travel to customer sites throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding regions to perform break/fix repairs, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure equipment is returned to full working condition.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Apple desktops and laptops including MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Minis, and Mac Pros
• Troubleshoot break/fix hardware issues such as display failures, battery replacements, logic board faults, storage drive failures, and connectivity problems
• Perform macOS troubleshooting including system recovery, software reinstallation, OS updates, and user profile configuration
• Travel to customer sites (schools, government buildings, administrative offices) to perform on-site repairs and installations
• Document all repair work, parts used, and asset information using company tracking systems
• Scan and verify serial numbers and asset tags for every unit serviced to maintain accurate inventory records
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, facility managers, and IT staff regarding repair status and timelines
• Follow all customer site rules including visitor sign-in procedures, security protocols, and restricted area guidelines
• Remove and properly dispose of or recycle packaging materials and old equipment as directed
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and toolkit at all times

Requirements

• Experience repairing Apple computers (MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Minis, Mac Pros)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and macOS software issues
• Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) certification is a plus
• Additional computer certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, etc.)
• Able to pass a criminal background check with the Department of Education
• Able to lift 35–50 lbs consistently
• Current valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Reliable transportation to report to our Atlanta facility by 7:00 AM daily
• Professional demeanor — you will be working in active school and government environments
• Detail-oriented with strong inventory and documentation skills

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with occasional overtime as required by project timelines.
