What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Advancement, the Administrative Assistant will execute the daily functions including, but not limited to:

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for visitors, callers, ministry partners, and guests.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, meeting coordination, and data entry.
• Support senior leaders with calendar management, meeting preparation, task tracking, and special projects.
• Assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, and advancement-related activities.
• Coordinate office operations, supplies, and ministry materials to help keep the organization running smoothly.
• Support board meetings, ministry events, conferences, and church engagement initiatives.
• Help advance the mission of Crossroads Prison Ministries through excellent organization, hospitality, and service.

This will be a full-time, role working 38 hours per week in the office with some schedule flexibility. On Fridays, we close at 3:00 pm. This role is perfect for you if you are someone who enjoys serving others, pays attention to the details, and can keep multiple priorities organized without losing sight of the mission. You are proactive, dependable, and bring warmth and professionalism to every interaction.

• Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrates spiritual maturity and servant leadership.

• Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Demonstrates initiative and anticipates needs before being asked.
• Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
• Works well independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
• Is flexible, teachable, and committed to supporting the mission of Crossroads Prison Ministries.
• Has previous administrative support experience.
• Has a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Has experience working with donor databases or CRM systems (helpful).
• Brings strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• May need to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
